Statutory Inspection of Anglican & Methodist Schools (SIAMS)

SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools, a denominational inspection process for Church of England and Methodist schools in the UK. It's a separate inspection from Ofsted, conducted in accordance with Section 48 of the Education Act 2005. SIAMS inspections focus on the school's Christian vision, the impact of its Christian values, and how the school is enabling pupils and adults to flourish. The Church of England provides more information on the purpose and focus of SIAMS.
