Maths
The mathematics curriculum is built around key concepts with a focus on depth of understanding, reasoning and mathematical thinking. As concepts are mastered, they are revisited by interleaving into future topics to support students to problem solve and reason, drawing on a range of skills to enable them to be confident mathematicians and succeed at GCSE. Students are taught in mixed ability groups where concepts are differentiated by depth and supported with use of manipulatives.
